3D x-rays
We use the most modern, low-radiation devices in our practice to protect patients from unnecessary X-ray exposure.
This goes for both two-dimensional bitewing images which are routinely made to diagnose caries in the interdental spaces, and of course three-dimensional images as well.
For more wide-ranging and comprehensive investigations, digital three-dimensional volume tomography (DVT) can be used: This is currently the highest and safest standard in dental imaging diagnostics.
This technology can be very helpful where implants are being planned, for removal of wisdom teeth or if foreign bodies are found.
We will be happy to advise you!
