Medium-sized defects
An Empress inlay is created in the laboratory and finished in detail using the microscope. This highly precise piece is then implanted in your tooth using a microscope. The material used is a ceramic, which resembles the tooth itself.
First session
- Your old filling is removed and the caries is treated
- The tooth is inspected under a microscope to find cracks and weak points.
- An impression of the tooth is made
- The tooth is then temporarily capped
Second session, one week later
- While the tooth is isolated (using a dental dam), the high-quality ceramic inlay is cemented into place
- Final polishing is done after removing the dental dam
